Facts About the Transformers 2 Character Jetfire

Posted by gogoholdings-powerposts at 8:21 PM Saturday, February 18, 2012 Labels: Character, Jetfire, Transformers 0 comments

Once again the world is in a tizz over the much heard word 'Transformers.' This time the upcoming sequel Transformers 2 "The Revenge of the Fallen" has delighted many Transformers fans (a few of them have been fans for 20 years) with the induction of many new Autobots, and Jetfire is well one of them.

Jetfire's Japanese name is sky fire. Its alternate mode is an Sr-71 black bird, which has a speed of over 2000mph, and has a report altitude flight of 85068 ft. He is rumoured to possess a very important role in Transformers 2. He is shown many a times in the movie's trailer.

Jetfire Transformer

Before choice of the cast of the movie, the director initiated an online poll for the choice of the Autobots. He was the 4th most desirable Autobot in the poll to be a part of the cast of the sequel. This poll speaks of the popularity of Jetfire amongst masses, although Jetfire has since long not appeared in any of the newest Transformer series along with the Transformers (2007).

John Turturro is going to voice Jetfire in this movie. He also appeared in the Transformers as Reggie Simmons. He is a well known actor, writer, and director. His gigantic caress will give the role of Jetfire a spectacular, effect.

Jetfire was a former Decepticon. The decision to turn it into an Autobot was taken due to his age. One of his extra abilities is to join with Optimus Prime. Optimus can fly after the fusion. The requirement of an old robot led to the induction of Jetfire into the movie. His major identification includes a cane beard and the creaking voice, which testifies to his old age.

According to the sequel, Jetfire grew tired of the war long time ago. He was sickened by the reckless ambitions of the Decepticons and the senseless violence of their war, and this motivated him to leave the Cybertron and go somewhere to hide. The desire to remain anonymous led him to the world that remained his abode for a very long time. He wanted peace and he did procure peace for a very long time, but one day he was awakened by man named Sam. Sam had broken into the museum at night with agent Simmons to end the rest of the old Autobot, and to him to fight.

Jetfire awoke on the verge of war in the world. First, he was unwilling to fight and act as a neutral robot, but he is persuaded in the movie to fight, but not for the Decepticons. In this movie, he is going to fight for the Autobots; the good ones.

With the up-to-date issue of trailers and the acknowledgement of the Jetfire's appearance, the new movie has grasped more attentiveness of the viewers, which promises fruitful wage and ratings for the upcoming blockbuster. A Chinese firm has started producing new toys of Jetfire under the licence of the company, and by being inspired by the movie it depicts the popularity of the character itself.
